Goal of the Position:
To grow food in local gardens and glean farmer’s fields, fruit trees, and gardens for food that will be distributed to food security programs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting locally-grown food
Working Conditions:
- This position requires standing, bending, and some lifting
- Exposure to heat & sun during the summer months
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of sustainable garden practices is an asset but not required
Other Requirements:
- Closed-toed shoes are required, hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are highly recommended
Available Shifts:
Tuesday Morning: 9:30 am - 11:30 am
